The purpose is simple: Provide the best quality firearms training while following NRA guidelines for safety and instruction.
At Freedom First Firearms School, our mission is to do our best to provide the opportunity to be introduced to the world of the shooting sports and to become familiar with the following:
1. Safe handling of firearms in any and every situation, whether it be on the firing line, in the home, out on the open range, in competition or in the performance of specific duties such as law enforcement or personal protection.
2. Proper introduction of first-time and beginning participants to the firearms used in our clinics. This includes parts and purpose of design, firing mechanism, specific uses and focus on the discipline in each particular clinic, proper handling, loading, aiming and firing of those particular firearms.
3. Encouragement of continued practice and maintenance of skills through intermediate and advanced clinics so that each participant gains genuine benefit from our instruction, skills that will last a lifetime.
4. Helping to instill in each participant a new positive appreciation for firearms and the shooting sports.
5. Providing an avenue for further exploration of interests in the shooting sports industry, namely competition, recreational shooting, hunting excursions, concealed carry classes, personal protection and defense, law enforcement and tactical training referrals.
6. Development of an awareness of the vital importance which the Second Amendment, America's First Freedom, gives to each of us as free men and women. For it is freedom which gives us purpose and makes us proud to be Americans.
7. Fanning the flames of freedom by promoting the above statement of purpose so that all who participate in our program will know how precious our Second Amendment freedoms are.
